Vaping, Concentrates, and other newfangled delivery devices

I am still more than a little bit apprehensive about the amount of product variety I see in these categories.

Recommending, or Prescribing?

Medical doctors know the difference.

Limiting Consumption

The problem with these adorable Pure Beauty mini-pre-rolls, is that I am up to a pack a day habit already.

Easy As Pie

Happy Medicating! Today I renewed my medical marijuana recommendation, online. It could not have been any easier, and I should know, I’ve spent 20 + years advising big name brands exactly how to make their online presence easier to use. NuggMD is not only spending good venture money (my guess) on Search Engine Optimization, claiming […]

All About The Packaging

I’ve been buying weed since the early nineties, when you’d get it direct from the friend of the grower, (or the grower himself if you’re discreet, and lucky.) Back then it came in a sandwich baggie if you were buying just an eighth or a quarter. Ziplocks were even considered overkill. An ounce might be […]

Soaking In It

The CBD Bath Salts I gave for Christmas were a big hit. I’d bought a bottle for myself back near Halloween, and found the bath taking to be very luxurious and relaxing, but that the effects of the – what I’ll call a body high- last for several hours after the bath. Lord Jones now […]

The MORE Act legalizes cannabis and expunges nonviolent federal marijuana convictions. The Senate is unlikely to approve the bill.

On the Fringe

You know those people you see, camped out on the mall in DC, or outside the Chinese Embassy in SF: they’ve got their signs, they’ve got collateral to hand out. They’re serious about spreading their beliefs and holding their ground. I’ve typically not engaged with these folks, even when I see validity in their cause. […]

Allowing Myself Every Indulgence

Weed has always been a panacea for me. It soothes a frenzied, worried, critical internalized voice and it works almost like magic. I’m currently in the midst (week 8) of Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way, a self- directed course, for the second time. It’s a twelve week study in unblocking The Creative Artist Within all […]
